When a corporate action affects the underlying equity of a listed option, the contract is adjusted so that the value of the options remains the same both before and after the event. The exchange determines how the contracts are adjusted on a case-by-case basis.
Cornèrtrader follows the adjustments made by the exchanges. However, Cornèrtrader reserves the right to close client positions prior to an option adjustment, particularly in the case of a non-supported corporate action (i.e. actions that are not recognised or processed by the exchange or the platform).
